After all my years of wandering on beaches I've never noticed this phenomena before. Forest scenes in the sand left by the receding water. I'm guessing, but the recent severe trauma on the coast after the storms of late December may have something to do with it... many of the beaches seem to have an undulating, almost ploughed characteristic.
The crisp horizontals and clean minimalism caught my eye here.
